Ok so people answered my other question and reccomended i do go to Florida keys, Thanks! Now i need to decide a resort and hotel. If doable are there any hotels near great beaches that have shops to keep my mum happy ?

First the Keys are small – great shopping on Duval street.

You will pay a premium price for any accomodations with beach front – hotels are VERY costly there. Many condos or boutique type hotels but not on the beach.
