i am wanting to go for 20 days i would like to find a hotel in the center of the city of rome italy

It depends from where you are.
London standsfed has ryanair… that flight to Rome Ciampino and is very cheap… then you can find a B&B in rome.. but Rome is not so cheap.
I would recommend you a farmhouse… even if not so near to the center sure is cheaper!
just give into world wide web B&B rome…
Or Agriturismo in Roma.
